Hello, artists!
Thanks for all of your enthusiasm about the fall project – I’m excited to get started with you next week ❤️
Yesterday, I shared a few ideas about how you might think about this short version of the project.
So what’s next?
Choose your project and share it with your friends and followers – let them know what you’re doing and how they can support or encourage you.
Decide how you’ll share your process – this might be a daily post, behind-the-scenes of your process on Instagram Stories, a weekly recap, or a 21-day recap at the end. It’s totally up to you!
Before we start on September 17, think about how you can set yourself up for success by getting prepared. This might be organizing your materials, setting aside time in your calendar each day, or asking a friend to do the project with you.
Start on September 17 and add the hashtags #The21DayProject and #The100DayProject to your posts so that people doing the project can find you and follow along.
In the spirit of experimenting and creating opportunities for connection, we’ll be using the chat feature here on Substack. Think of it as a place for encouragement and to connect with the community. There will also be an online event each week – here’s the link to sign up for the first one. Hope to see you there!
XO,
Lindsay
Looking forward to this art mini. It’s like you’re a mind reader, I’ve been slacking when it comes to my daily art practice and am hoping this will jump start me again. Thanks so much!
Love this challenge! I've been away from creating for a long while now and had been planning to get back into it now that I am on parental leave for another couple of months, but hadn't taken that next step yet. So this is an absolutely perfectly timed jolt of motivation.
Many months ago I bought a couple of courses from Charley Clements as a way to get back to drawing, but hadn't done them yet. So that's going to be my 21 Day Project: completing both courses (they're short enough it should work out timing-wise!), posting my daily course-related exercises on my Instagram stories, and then posting my final artwork at the end of each course to my posts.
