#The100DayProject starts one week from today 🥳
Are you ready?
Here are some resources, in case you missed them:
How to get clear on your why for doing the project
How to share your project (here’s mine if you’d like to see!)
The Q&A
The FAQ
How to be good at art
Upcoming events
The Facebook group and our Instagram
If you’re just hearing about it for the first time, jump right on in! These resources are meant to help but not overcomplicate – it can be as simple as choosing one small action – like dancing for five minutes or taking a photo every day or journaling every morning – and doing it every day for 100 days starting next Sunday. You can do anything at all (as long as it’s not bad for you or someone else, of course). I recommend keeping it simple, especially if it’s your first year, but the rules are made up so do whatever you want 😉
For folks who have done the project before, we’d love for you to share your words of encouragement and wisdom in the comments. What have you learned, what have you gained, what has doing this project opened up for you? Please share 💓
My 4th year of #The100DayProject. That means that so far I've done 300 days, right? Wrong. Some years I didn't even get half way through. But each year I have done work I'm proud of, work that that has improved my technique and taught me things about myself. I've also followed the work of people in disciplines that I'd never have thought myself inspired by, let alone interested in: banjo playing, knitting, sgraffito etc. My first project was photographic, my latest railway modelling. Enjoy what you're doing, rather than beating yourself up, and enjoy what other people are doing alongside. In, out: let's get cracking'!
This will be my 4th year as well. And the number one gift I receive is self-trust. The lesson in honoring our creativity daily is a beautiful practice. And even more so when it becomes non-negotiable.The second vest part is the connection and celebration arond the project. All the other artists as well as your followers who interact in support. And the mini collection at the end is righteous. Excited.
