Hi there, friends!
Tomorrow is the big day ๐
From February 22 until June 1, youโll do your project every day and share your process on your own social accounts as you go.
A couple of things before we begin:
๐ซ
Simplify and start. Itโs not too late to join us! Pick a project, nothing too complicated or time consuming. One of my favorite projects Iโve done was my first and it was super simple โ I only found out about it the day before and decided to join in at the last minute. A few minutes a day counts. What might you do in 5-10 minutes a day?
๐๏ธ
Make time and space. Especially for the first few days as weโre getting started, it can be helpful to set aside time in your schedule or plan ahead. Take some time today to set yourself up for a great first week. What will help you have a great first week?
#๏ธโฃ
Use the hashtag #the100dayproject on all of your project posts so other people can find and follow you.
๐
Ask for support. Let your friends, family, and followers know what youโre doing and how they can encourage you. That might mean telling your friends that their โlikesโ give you motivation or getting your kids or your friends involved too.ย
๐
Give support too! Whether or not youโre doing a project this year, you can still cheer the community on! Post your words of encouragement below, or search #The100DayProject on Instagram to find and follow artists doing the project.

You can find the answers to frequently asked questions here.
Hereโs a few words of encouragement from the community:
โThis project is amazing. Top tip: find what works for you by trial and error and then repeat that over and over again. Short periods of creating also saves you from overwhelm.โ โ Charlynne
โIt taught me discipline and sharing daily helped me stay accountable! I tried to learn or practice a new skill for mixed media daily since I was art journaling daily! And of course, met a whole new supportive community!!!โ โ @journaljenho
โIf you have a theme for your 100 day project, choose something you like or enjoy or that brings you energy. It will help you keep going. Also take it one day at a time. If you on Day One focus on a 100 day project, it can be overwhelming, but if you instead focus on the project of the day it will probably feel more manageable. Best of luck and happy creating!โ โ @heartoftheday
I *canโt wait* to see what you make โจ
XO,
Lindsay
Hiya Lindsay!
Well, my first year. But I'm doubting myself as I've decided to do a variety of things, not one theme, or one medium or one type of Art. Is that ok? I just want it to help me do something creative everyday. Then some of those things will be used in future projects.
Cheers
