Hello, friends –
A couple of days ago I wrote to you about getting clear on your motivation for doing #The100DayProject this year.
For most of us, these motivations aren’t mutually exclusive. Your why is probably a mix of all three – for example, you can be working towards an outcome and want to have fun while you do it 🥳
Here are a few prompts to go deeper as you narrow down your project ideas:
What is your primary motivation for doing the project this year?
Does the project you have in mind line up with this primary motivation?
If you’re not sure, try brainstorming project ideas for each of the three motivations (to play, to practice, to produce).
What are things you’d enjoy doing each day?
What are the skills you’d like to improve or what would you like to learn
What big creative goals do you have?
Where is there overlap? What shows up in more than one category?
Whenever you’re ready, announce your #The100DayProject on your social channels by sharing the image below or one of your own. Let people know you plan to do the project – maybe they’ll want to join in too! – and what kind of support or encouragement you’d like to receive 💓
XO,
Lindsay
I have decided that my #100DayProject is to learn the sound tract of The Sound of Music on the piano. I will practice each song in my booklet until I play accomplished each song that I love. I am excited to be doing this. I have already started.
I’m excited to get started on this 100 day project. I will be drawing/painting a series of bicycles, I’ve been thinking about this for years and mows the time.
