Hello, and happy Day 10 of #The100DayProject! If you follow me on Instagram, you probably already know I love tarot. One of my favorite decks is by Kim Krans, The Wild Unknown. This is a post Kim shared recently about going back to a past creative love that really stuck with me. She writes,
When it comes right down to it, I don't want to be an overnight sensation bestselling author-- although, having written since I was a little kid and even submitted work to Little Golden Books (they sent me back a very nice letter suggesting I get back to them after I finished school) -- something like that used to be my dream. Now I just want my work to be out there in the world, in some form or other, so I can share my life with others. Which is kinda already happening with this project, regardless of whether I finish the chapbook, let alone publish it.
I absolutely love tarot! My favorite deck is called the “forest of enchantment” by Lunaea Weatherstone and Meraylah Allwood. The artwork and messages have been a huge inspiration to the fairytale short story collection I’m currently working on. It’s also put me back in touch with a long abandoned childhood dream (illustrating a kid’s book), which I’m hoping to make a reality this year!
Love it!! Thanks1

I love this - it’s so true. And I believe they’re our dreams because they want to live through us.

Your dreams are a cocreation between you and the cosmos. And yes, they want to be seen and heard. Lovely message!
