Elle Luna on creative blocks and making it BIGGER 🎧
Episode 1 of #The100DayProject Podcast is here
Hello, friends!
In case you missed it, we made a podcast! For the first episode, I sit down with my dear friend Elle Luna – designer, painter, writer, and #The100DayProject leader – to talk about the origins of the project, how it’s evolved over the 12 (!) years since she started the online version, and more.
Our conversation explores the transformative power of daily creative practice, how she works through creative blocks, and why sometimes the best approach is to "make it bigger."
Here are some of the resources Elle mentions:
"The Crossroads of Should and Must" by Elle Luna
Catching the Big Fish by David Lynch
Dr. Elisabeth Kübler-Ross’ writings on essence
Michael Bierut's "Five Years of 100 Days" article
Stan Grof's work on holotropic breathwork

P.S. We’ll be sharing the start date in the next few days, so keep an eye out. In the meantime, I’ll be leading a workshop on how to design your project. Here’s the details if you’d like to sign up!
This is super exciting and reflects a special synchronicity for me that I want to share with you:
A few days ago I decided spontaneously to develop a couple of daily practices. One came from reading an essay about Carl Jung that said that he had a period of his life when we made mandala every morning. The other was, honestly, born out of my insomnia when I realized I have this box of dreamy winter postcards next to my bed for "Unwinding" that I could write to people I love at 4am. As the processes were crystallizing, I realized that it so happens that there are 100 pages in my notebook and 100 postcards in the box.
And then today your lovely email came in, reminding me that I have been a part of a #100dayproject in the past and apparently I am again:) I will be listening to your podcast episode this week as I am sure it will have some particularly succulent gems for me. And I am grateful to be on my #100day journey already. Sending you many best wishes for the flourishing of these endeavors. I feel the magic of them!
I loved this episode!! Thank you ❤️
